- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil

Method of Preparation
Place oil in a large skillet and heat on medium-high until it reaches 370°F (190°C); about 2 minutes. Place fish fillet on a paper towel and pat dry to reduce splattering. Season to taste with salt.
Carefully place fish fillets in the hot oil and cover. Fry 3 to 4 minutes. Uncover, turn, replace cover and fry an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
