Seafood cocktail sauce is usually mildly spicy for American tastes. Some can even be bland. Adjust the amount of heat in your sauce from mild to hot by adjusting the amount of hot sauce and horseradish. If your sauce is too spicy for your taste, add more ketchup.

- 1 cup (270 g) tomato ketchup
- Hot pepper sauce (optional)
- Prepared horseradish to taste
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime or lemon juice
Method of Preparation
Combine all ingredients in bowl and stir until uniform on color. Adjust the amount of hot pepper sauce and horseradish to taste.
