Ingredients

  • 12 corn tortillas
  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • Kosher salt (optional)

Method of Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange oven rack in middle of oven or middle and lower third of oven.

Step 2

Line two 12x18 inch baking sheets or 4 smaller sheets with aluminum foil or parchment paper to simplify clean up. Arrange tortillas on baking sheet(s) so they do not overlap and spray with cooking spray about 3 seconds.

Step 3

Working with 2 tortillas at a time. Stack with sprayed side facing each other and cut into four wedges. Return sprayed side down on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining tortillas. Do not overlay wedges.

Step 4

Spray second wide with cooking spray about 3 seconds. Sprinkle with salt if desired.

Step 5

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. If using two baking sheets, switch and rotate sheets half way during cooking to for even browning.
