Artichoke and Grilled Chicken Pasta Salad

World Pasta Day began in the year 1995 in Rome, Italy to promote the nutritional advantages of pasta to the entire world. After two years, this day was legitimately declared as World Pasta Day.

Dry pasta is low in sodium and can be a nutritious accompaniment for lunch or dinner. Pasta should be cooked al dente (click for YouTube video about cooking pasta). Two to three ounces is a generous serving size. Avoid making a meal out of 8 ounces of pasta or more to avoid spikes in your blood sugar.

Watch this World Pasta Day YouTube video for ways and types of pasta you can prepare at home. Enjoy pasta in moderation. Buon Appetito!
